This website is wholly owned and operated under PAZ RUGGED GROUP LLC, and our website address is: https://solvepmproblems.com

We are a personal blog who primarily publishes articles related to project management, other similar professions and content related to these topics (‘primary content’). We consider those interested in these topics our ‘primary audience’. We also promote products, services and resources that we feel are relevant and useful to those interested in our primary content.

In the interest of full disclosure and compliance with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC)  – please assume that anything published on our website may contain paid promotions for affiliated websites and merchants. By promoting these products/services on our website, we often receive commissions in exchange for influencing our readers in their purchase of these product/services, cash for displaying advertisements, or other similar compensation.  

We promote products and services that we truly believe are of interest and benefit to our primary audience. If you do not trust our opinions or judgement in doing so, we will not be offended, but we reserve the right to promote products/services as we see fit.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it:

Comments:

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Your contact information:

Your contact information, specifically email, social media account and IP address, will only be shared with online networks, including but not limited to Facebook and Google, for the sole purpose of showing you advertisements in the future, in strict accordance with the rules and regulations of each respective platform. This information relates to your existing account with said platforms, the data you’ve agreed to share with them independently of our website, and the information required by these websites to show you promotional information in the future via ‘pixel data’. 

Direct Purchases With Us:

At the moment, we do not offer direct sales of any products or services – referrals only. In the future, we may also sell items directly on our website. Should this happen, we will collect and store ‘customer information’, which will include your shipping/billing addresses, phone numbers and payment information. We also store information related to the item(s) you’ve purchased, along with relevant refunds, returns, legal payments and cancellations. This information will not be shared with anyone. 

Media:

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Contact Forms & Communication:

If you choose to submit your email address to us for the purpose of subscribing to our email newsletter, your email address and IP address will be saved on a secure server and you will are considered a ‘subscriber’. From time to time, we shall send emails to our subscribers when we publish new content and with new offers or promotions. 

Cookies:

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

How long we retain your data:

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data:

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
